AFP announces a series of appointments

Philip Chetwynd, 43, AFP’s editor-in-chief for the Asia-Pacific region, is appointed Central Editor-in-Chief to replace Florence Biedermann, who takes over as Director of the Europe/Africa region. He will take up his duties on October 1.

AFP partners 10th "Cannes fait le mur" wall art photo

Pierre Célérier (50), AFP technical editor-in-chief, has been appointed deputy global news director to replace Juliette Hollier Larousse, who has been appointed director for Latin America in Montevideo. Pierre will begin in the new position on 1 July 2012.
